Objectives

• Help the welfare and development of the community and provide direct aid to the needy in the relief of poverty, sickness, suffering and distress.

• Train and educate business enterprises and services required by the community. Employ and encourage the members of the community in those jobs.

• Arrange education, training, employment, housing, health, fire protection and other services for the community.

• Help maintain and develop traditional, cultural and other recreational activities.

• Manage the development of community land on the terms and conditions agreed between the Arnhem Land Aboriginal Land Trust and the Association, with special regard for the provision of public housing for members.
